House rules
Short list, and every one of them comes from something that actually happened.
Socks on, always
Grip socks on the structure for everyone, children and adults. Bare feet slip on the slides and the netting is hard on toes.
An adult stays in the building
We are not a drop-off centre. One responsible adult per family stays on site the whole time. For the toddler room, that adult has to be in the room itself.
Height limit means height, not age
150 cm on the main structure. We measure at the door when it's borderline. It isn't about age; it's about the size of the tubes and what happens when a bigger kid lands on a smaller one.
No food or drink on the structure
Tables only. This one is about choking rather than mess.
Sick kids, another day
If a child has been vomiting or has had a fever in the last twenty-four hours, please come another day and we'll move your punch card along. Everyone here shares the same ball pit.
If something's closed, it's broken
Taped-off sections failed a check. Staff can't open them, and asking puts them in an awkward spot.
We can ask people to leave
Rarely, and almost always for rough play that we've already spoken to someone about twice. Wristbands are refunded when that happens.
